Iva Company to Solve Iva Problems

A borrower who is finding it difficult to clear the debts can benefit from an IVA. It is a good option for those who wish to avoid bankruptcy. It can also be a good option to all parties including the creditors. Bankruptcy has larger and long term implications. An IVA can help avoid this.

Basically, an IVA is a contractual arrangement with creditors and can be as flexible as an individual’s own circumstances. It is a formal agreement between someone who owes money (the debtor) and the people he or she owes money to (creditors). An IVA proposal sets out how the debtor is going to repay the creditors, usually over a period of 60 months.

An IVA should be set up by a licensed insolvency practitioner such as one of our many approved and licensed practices as it is formal in nature. A borrower can avail the services of an IVA company to solve IVA problems. These companies have in depth experience in handling IVA cases.

These companies consist of a team of experts who do not charge any upfront fees for putting together a client’s proposals for an IVA. This is how an IVA process functions.

An IVA helps:

•  All interest and charged on the account to be frozen.
•  Homeowners may have to release the equity in the home.
•  The account of the borrower is administered by a fully qualified, licensed insolvency practitioner, who takes responsibility for liasing with the creditors and distributing funds on behalf of the borrower.

IVA Company also provides the following services:

•  Debt Management IVA
•  IVA application
•  IVA Solution
•  IVA Advice
•  IVA Debt Help
•  IVA Bankruptcy
•  IVA info In UK
•  Credit Card IVA
•  Debt Management IVA

Before opting for any IVA company, one must do a careful research. The company must have had a reputation of helping people. It should also be able to advise on the course of action that one needs to undertake.

The success of the IVA depends upon the final decision of the creditors. An experienced Insolvency Practitioner can efficiently assess each new case before starting the IVA process. This will help save unnecessary time, effort and cost.

How Does the IVA Work?

A person who is opting for an IVA, will be questioned regarding your current financial situation once it is decided that an IVA is suitable for the person. Based on the information provided, a repayment amount will be agreed upon. Followed by this, an application will be made to the court for an Interim Order. Once this comes into existence, creditors cannot take legal action against the person.

Comprehensive Employee Surveys Boost Employee and Company Performance

Employee survey

Comprehensive Employee Surveys Boost Employee and Company Performance

Identifying and Diagnosing Problems that May be Killing Your Organization:

Conducting comprehensive employee surveys is like doing a full-body scan of your organization. They can identify cancers that are eating away at and threatening your business. Comprehensive employee surveys typically include 40-70 questions. This is contrasted with limited-question employee surveys that have 10-25 or so questions.

Five reasons for conducting comprehensive employee survey:

Five key reasons to conduct comprehensive employee engagement surveys, employee satisfaction surveys and employee opinion surveys include:

1 – Well designed comprehensive employee surveys tell you what you need to know to achieve significant increases in company performance and competitiveness. Comprehensive employee surveys assess the magnitude of known problems and opportunities, and identify hidden problems and opportunities that are impeding competitiveness and profit, negatively impacting customers and creating risks that can be very costly and sometimes embarrassing.

2 – While ratings for each employee survey are important in telling you about how engaged and satisfied employees are, employees’ comments often are even more important than the ratings. Comments tell you why employees provided high or low ratings for each survey question and comments collectively tell you what needs to be done to address problems and take advantage of opportunities identified in the survey.

3 – Whether your organization has fewer than 50 or more than 50,000 employees, it is likely complex with many problems, challenges and opportunities. A limited question employee survey such as the Q12 employee engagement survey that is offered by Gallup. The Q12 survey, which includes only 12 specific questions, can’t possibly identify all of an organization’s employee-related and other important problems and opportunities, and point to the necessary solutions. Comprehensive employee surveys assess a broad range of topics, providing detailed quantitative and qualitative information and a roadmap for achieving breakthrough increases in employee and organizational performance.

4 – Most employees are willing to tell you the “good, the bad and the ugly” when they are confident that their responses, including ratings and comments/suggestions are anonymous and they have no fear of retribution due to their honest survey responses.

5 – The information, perceptions and insight gathered by employee engagement surveys, employee satisfaction surveys and employee opinion surveys eliminates the need for guessing about what is right and what is wrong. Comprehensive employee survey data enables organizations to avoid costly decisions, initiatives and actions taken by managers (sometimes based on recommendations from consultants) that are based on insufficient or wrong information and guesses about causes of problems.

Illustrative Comments:

Following are illustrative comments received from sales people in an employee surveyconducted for a company with several thousand people selling office equipment to business across the U.S. The comments demonstrate the need to conduct comprehensive surveys and to take action based on the survey findings. Does your company have any of the following issues and problems? What other problems are hurting your organization’s performance?:

Departments Communicate Effectively with Each Other:

“Sales and Service have NO communication with each other as sales has an “air” of UNFOUNDED superiority toward Service.”

Feel Comfortable Going to Manager with Problems:

“My manager has absolutely no people skills and I can never go to him in order to obtain help with my work. I feel he has a problem with me personally and continues to push me into a state of hating the job I once loved. He does not assist or lead us in any manner, he only piles on more work each day to the point that my job cannot be completed.”

Feel Good About Working for Manager:

“My manager does nothing to address really important issues. We do not have enough time to properly complete our work. Processes are too complicated and cumbersome. Answering the phone is a big factor in not being able to complete our paperwork, emails, voicemails, etc. We are constantly taking on new customers problems and not having the time to take care of the old problems. This leads to frustration.”

Company Communicates Effectively:

“Management is very rude and disrespectful when communicating with employees on a day to day basis.”

Feel Good About Job Overall:

“I would feel real good about my job if I had more knowledge about my job, and more training. Also having a manager that I can go to for assistance would make the job a whole lot easier. I cannot ask my manager anything related to my job. She knows nothing and refers me to others for assistance.”

Have Information Needed to Do Job:

“Sales people do not have access to any of our customer information. The Customer Service Center took our file cabinets and now they have lost thousands of our customer files. Furthermore, we don’t access to Oracle info (even read-only rights) that would allow us to pull meter readings, etc.”

Have Sufficient Authority for Job Responsibilities:

“I feel like every little thing I do is being watched very closely and any wrong decision is treated like I just killed a man. I do not feel like I can properly assist customers with that mind set, for the fact that I have to tell them to hold on TRY and get a hold of someone and once I finally do go back to the customer tell them what upper management said, if they have any questions or disagree I have to put them back on hold and do this game of back and forth back and forth.”

Am Inspired to Do Best Work Every Day:

“I will do my best regardless of what I am doing. It often feels as if there is no difference in result no matter how much effort I put in. I am too reliant on multiple depts and sales rep and things don’t get resolved. Over time, that gets to you.”

Manager Encourages Environment of Openness/Trust:

” My manager frequently threatens us with write ups and employment termination.”

Manager Listens to Concerns/Interested in My Ideas:

“My manager is very ineffective with communication and frequently degrades employees in staff meetings in front of the entire department. If we disagree with her or question the validity of instructions she responds negatively or not all.”

One Thing Company Could Do to Increase Engagement:

“Listen to these surveys, and engage the workers in more open honest feedback. Address our concerns.”

Job Performance Is Evaluated Fairly on a Timely Basis:

I only had 1 review in over 2 years & never spoke a word to anyone about it – I was evaluated on paperwork being done on time & with little mistakes – I thought I would be evaluated in other areas & not just that- It was very disappointing that no one called me to review it verbally ; it was all done on line- I even asked about 1 part & never heard back from anyone on it”

Would Take a Lot to Get Me to Leave:

“Our department has a very high turn around. The stress, inconsistent communications and extreme workload have caused over 8 people to leave in the 10 months I have been here. Migraines, ulcers and regular headaches are common complaints from people in my department because of the pressure and inconsistent management approaches.”

Training Classes Effective:

“I have not been given the opportunity to attend any classes, even though I asked. I was told I can take only online classes because of budget restrictions, but I feel in person classes are necessary for me and the entire department; specifically in Customer Service skills”

Management Values Employees:

“This is something that is told to us constantly, with compliments and comments. However, none of the employees at my level feel they are valued with pay and respect which would be more honest indicators.”

Things You Like Least About Your Job:

“My manager’s inability to communicate without offending. He is constantly telling everyone how thin my co-worker is and saying she is a size 2 and then offering me Hoodia to lose weight because I’m a 12. That is SO INAPPROPRIATE AND INCREDIBLY RUDE.”

How to select a Wedding Gown Preservation Company

Wedding Gowns
by Scott.Paterson

How to select a Wedding Gown Preservation Company

Find out what you need to know to select the best wedding dress preservation company for your personal use.

Ask your local bridal salon who they use to preserve wedding gown. Then go online and know the process that this company uses to preserve wedding dress. Get a print of their process. Rinse and repeat for other companies.

Now, compare the prints that you have and choose the company who is using proper method to preserve you wedding gown.

When selecting a dry cleaner, you will need to know which solvents your local cleaner uses, or if he sends bridal gowns out, which solvent the wholesale dry cleaner uses.

Select a dry cleaner that uses distilled solvent to clean wedding dresses. Because garment cleaned in dirty solvent will have a dry clean smell.

A good dry cleaner will use virgin solvent on all wedding gowns. A clean wedding dress must not smell like cleaning solvent.

Wet Cleaning – Some dry cleaners use wet cleaning for their bridal gowns. This method uses only water and has several advantages.

Dry Cleaning – There are four solvent commonly used in cleaning wedding dresses and that are: Perchloroethylene, Stoddard solvent, Hydrocarbon, and Silicone.

Let’s talk about each of them below:

1. Perchloroethylene – Commonly known as Perc. This is the most widely used solvent by all dry cleaners and it is the best solvent for degreasing for silk, rayon, or acetate and dirt.

2. Stoddard solvent – This solvent is harder to find and is petroleum-based solvent. This solvent cannot be used in strip mall type dry cleaning shops, because of fire regulations. This solvent is safer for cleaning dresses with sequins and beads than Perchloroethylene.

3. Hydrocarbon – This is a newly formulated petroleum based solvent. This is also safer for beads and sequins like Stoddard solvent. However, it is not quite effective at degreasing.

4. Silicone – Silicone solvent is not as aggressive as Perchloroethylene. But it is safer for beads and sequins like Hydrocarbon. Also, it is most environment friendly solvent.

To do proper wedding gown preservation, following should be included. hand inspection upon receiving the gown, hand clean the hem and top of bodice, note any stains, treat all stains with proper solutions, treat the dress for sugar stains, dry-clean the dress, re-inspect the dress, hand press and hand steam the dress, place the dress on a bust form, place in a special acid free wedding gown storage box using acid free tissue, place the storage/display box in a shipping box and ship to you.

Experience is almost certainly the most significant factor to consider choosing the dry cleaner. Check with your local bridal shops to see whom they use and recommend.

If your dress and lining are polyester, with or without beads and sequins, wet cleaning should be safe and will get your dress the cleanest. Check the label carefully, and look dry, clean sink Label ID or limit the amount of water. If you are unsure, test clean the visible part of the dress. You should be able to safely hand wash most suits if you care polyester.

For the past 30 years, brides across the country have enjoyed our respected wedding dress cleaning and preservation services. Memories Gown Preservation grew to be one of the largest and most trusted wedding gown preservation companies with the highest quality services in the country. That’s because we dry clean differently than everyone else. Visit http://www.gownspreservations.com or call 866-492-GOWN (4696) to maintain the beauty of your treasured Wedding Gown.

Deciding To Go It Alone – Start Your Own Courier Company

Deciding To Go It Alone – Start Your Own Courier Company

In the old days, and I mean before-fax-machines-came-along sort of old days, you could set up a courier company with just a pen, a reporter’s notebook, an ashtray and a kettle for the couriers, an old van to do some of the deliveries in, and a typewriter for the invoicing. A few cards around local offices, and you’d soon be delivering urgent letters for local businesses.

How times have changed.

Since then, the same day courier industry has had to adapt to survive many changes.

Email has replaced the courier for pretty much any correspondence that the fax machine hadn’t already accounted for, and broadband is carrying all the data that used to go on tape.

These digital revolutions have changed courier work to carrying “anything which can’t be digitised”, ie couriers are generally now carrying products, not documents.

The products that the express pallet networks and overnight parcel networks haven’t taken, that is.

And nowadays customers won’t stand for scruffiness of any kind, so there’s been a revolution in the appearance of same day couriers and courier companies, with rule now being smart, well-turned-out couriers in smart vans, and imaginative courier company colours.

Locally-owned and managed courier companies with a single control room now find themselves having to compete with large national and regional concerns with an office in every major town.

So what’s the next big revolution? Well, just as the internet has changed the kind of work being carried, it’s also provided the opportunity for far-sighted couriers to succeed.

All same day courier companies, big and small, now compete for the same new business, and those who use the benefits of the internet in the control room will be the winners by miles:

The internet helps you to get the job right every time

Customers now expect same day courier companies to have a courier available, however busy they are.

They want your Friday afternoon performance to be as perfect as your Monday performance. They want every part of the country to perform equally well, which is often a real challenge for bigger same day companies who are, in their customers’ eyes, only as good as the weakest office or depot in the group.

However big your operation, if you rely heavily on your “own fleet” of couriers, which is quite slow to grow when needed, your customer will always suffer worse service at busy periods, and is likely to try elsewhere.

Internet-based courier work exchanges allow you to keep your own fleet to a sensible size for the amount of work you have, while still being able comfortably to cover all your work even at busy peaks.

The various courier work exchanges, such as www.mtvan.com, between them have 1000′s of members throughout the UK, the majority of them owner drivers, to give courier companies their own virtually limitless “reserve fleet”.

So the internet gives courier companies access to many more couriers than they could ever have known in the past, in a much wider area, and more importantly, it allows you to check up on them, without face to face contact.

And in recognition of the obvious anxiety many controllers feel about giving a job to someone they haven’t met, there is often “feedback” available, as there is on eBay.

For maximum reassurance many internet-based courier owner drivers will even allow you to track their actual position, using positioning technology which tracks their mobile phone signal or GPS.

So nowadays the internet allows you to have a national fleet of couriers who you know you can trust and track just like your own fleet. And using the internet, you really don’t have to have the cost of offices all around the country to manage them.

Use the internet to prove to your customer that he should stay with you

Customers are now asking that courier companies measure their delivery performance, ie collection and delivery times, and measure them against pre-agreed “Service Level Agreements”.

You need to be offering POD information on-line or you’re not even in the running.

The internet allows you to collect lots of detailed information like this, from couriers all around the country. Your couriers enter the POD data, and use that data to give your customers the overall performance summary.

If your customers like your performance, they’re less likely to look elsewhere. The internet allows you to prove to them that they like your performance.

Use the internet to offer 100% national courier coverage

Increasingly, courier companies need to offer national coverage, or they’ll lose out to the big boys at tender stage.

Customers like to buy a range of products and services from what they perceive to be national brands, whether it’s stationery from Lyreco, overnight parcels from Interlink, or cars from their nearest Ford dealer. They’re buying from a locally-owned company with national presence. The same is true with same day courier, so increasingly, you need to look big and act big.

With such massive nationwide courier coverage on offer on the internet at the click of your mouse, courier companies can nowadays be confident of being able to cover a job when they’ve “run out” of your own couriers, or if the job is collecting outside your usual area.

So one of the biggest problems affecting courier company growth, getting the balance right between fleet size and the amount of work, is now largely a thing of the past. Thanks to the internet.

Use the internet to offer your customers more value

You have a choice. You can be the courier company they choose because you’re cheap, or the one they choose because you’re slightly more expensive but worth it.

The more basic your service offering, the cheaper you’ll have to quote.

The more you offer your customer, the more you can charge, or at least the harder it is for him to look elsewhere.

The internet allows you to offer you customer more value, such as on-line booking, on-line POD enquiries, national coverage, and instant national performance measurement.

Charge competitive prices while making more profit

If you’re a medium sized courier company with, say, 25 couriers on the road, it’s easy to be put off by the power of the really big companies. With all that turnover, and all those offices, you’d expect them to be able to beat you every time.

But think about it. Their local office costs much the same as yours does, they employ the same number of people in the office as you do, and they can’t make diesel any cheaper just by being big.

So locally they’re no more profitable than you, and on top of that, they have the cost of the Head Offices and Area Supervisors and other regional management staff. How many “Regional Managers” and “National Operations Managers” do you employ at the moment? None, probably.

So, you already have a clear head start over the big boys, in the way you are set up.

Your costs are lower.

The internet allows you to maintain this advantage by covering work in a wider and wider geographical area without falling into the trap of wasting the extra money on more and more offices and staff to run it all.

By giving you access to couriers all over the country, the internet allows you to expand your business without the need for offices everywhere.

So if you get it right, you may well be able to win work from the big boys by offering very competitive prices against them, simply because your costs are lower.

And when a customer asks you “where are you based?”, you can say “we’re based on the internet, which gives us couriers all over the country at great prices”.

All of this is the reason why modern courier operations are now turning to the internet.

Once you’ve made up your mind to build a courier business of your own, the first thing you’re going to need is some customers of your own. Up to now, your customers have all been courier companies, middlemen, who have stood between you and some of the realities of finding and dealing with the “end user”, the customer. This is where the money is bigger, if you get the job right.

As you will have gathered, they play a useful role in getting the customers, taking on the work, sharing it out, paying you before they get paid, and generally taking on most of the risk. As an owner-driver courier, you will have benefited from all this, so you will have seen how much risk and work is involved.

It’s a formula.

“Man who say it cannot be done should not interrupt man doing it.” (Chinese Proverb)

Air Ambulance Company

Thursday, December 2nd, 2010

air ambulance to UK
by National Library of Scotland

Air Ambulance Company

In which the location could not be reach by conventional land transportation. Sometimes it is also used for emergency cases such as transporting patient who desperately in need of a transplantation that requires aerial conveniences.

There are two types of air ambulance service: Aeromedical Evacuation (Medevac) and Casualty Evacuation (Casevac). The difference is Medevac uses standardized and dedicated vehicle providing en route care, while Casevac is the opposite of Medevac. Casevac doesn’t use dedicated vehicle and doesn’t necessarily have en route care.

Medevac is more like transportation from a certain medical facility to the one that provides higher level of care, while Casevac (usually in case of combat situation) is transportation from a dangerous zone to a safer one. Medical Evacuation is also different from a normal flight because medical evacuation is more challenging due to the particular conditions and situations. For that, USA and the Commission on Air Medical Transportation System have created accreditation and requirement on each Air Ambulance flight to ensure that all the pilots, personnel, and the aircrafts merit the service standards requirements. An organization which provides this particular service is commonly called air ambulance company.

There are two types of organization that provide air ambulance service; the first one is government company (the only government that provides air ambulance service is the United Kingdom. While others are collaborating with commercial service provider); and the second one is private company.

Air ambulance company funding is provided by various sources, which are :

1. Donations This kind of funding comes from donations provided by public and/ or some large companies as a gesture; or any other social organizations. The County Air Ambulance Trust is one of the companies that provided by donations. You can find more information about them in: http://www.countyairambulancetrust.co.uk/index.html.

2. Government subsidy This kind of funding obviously comes from the government subsidy. Like in the United Kingdom, the parliament agrees to fund their Scottish Ambulance Air Service directly. You can find more information about them in: http://www.scottishambulanceservice.co.uk/air_ambulance.htm

3. Fee-for-service There are other air ambulance companies that get their funds from charging people for using their services. Some of them are aircraft charter companies, hospitals, and private for profits EMS systems. Almost all the air ambulance companies in Europe use this system, and they have their own organization responsibility, although for that, they must have government license first.

These are the few of many fee-for-service air ambulance companies in the world: American Air Ambulance (http://www.americanairambulance.com/), and Air Ambulance Worldwide (http://www.airambulanceworldwide.com/). For more information please visit Air Ambulance Services Blog

Mezzanine Floor
by jennaddenda

Read About The Many Benefits Of A Mezzanine Floor And Why Company Owners Are Choosing Them

When I was first asked whether I had heard of Mezzanine Flooring, I went blank. Mezzanine Flooring is essentially, a steel flooring that sits above your existing workspace. Mezzanine floors are commonly used in factories. This allows for a permanent floor without the need to make major renovations.

All businesses need a good storage solution. The more efficient your use of space, the more profitable a company can be.

If you have a cluttered environment it is very difficult to operate as a business efficiently. Employees are in turn effected by their surroundings. This is probably why more and more companies are using mezzanine flooring. Instead of having just one level, you can maximise empty ceiling space.

You will find increased safety from mezzanine flooring. No more files using up space. No cluttered aisels. A floor will give you much more space for your employees to roam freely, without fear of tripping up. From the space you save, you could also add in more desks and people. Forget about the costly aspect of extending or moving office- just add a mezzanine floor!

Mezzanine floors save serious money. In real estate terms, they are a brilliant investment. The cost of moving or extending can seriously hit the bank balance. Mezzanine floors are a snip comparitevly speaking. There arent many products or ideas you can invest in that essentially double the potential of what you already have. Now you might see why mezzanine floors are so popular.

Once you have a floor constructed, the price of your property should increase significantly. You should, at the very least regain the cost of setting the floor up. You are after all, doubling the space of what you already have.

Mezzanine floors make property more saleable. Imagine not making the most of a single floor otherwise. A factory fitted out with a mezzanine floor offers all the advantages mentioned, and thus will attract a wider range of buyers. The potential buyer will be able to see your extra space. You always have the option of adding additional floors as well if the space is available.

Mezzanine floors in the current economic downturn are being used even more. Smart business owners soon see their benefits. Why fork out on new premises, or extend an existing one? A mezzanine floor can give you a cut price solution to gain the same amount of space. And since you get your money back on the investment, and make it more sellable, it is the smart business people that are having mezzanine floors constructed.

RSA LTD can help you find the many benefits of mezzanine flooring.
